Salary: $ 39,379 - $ 47,061 annually

*Applicants who do not fully meet the required qualifications at the Clerk 11 level may be considered for this position, but under-implemented at a lower classification  (Clerk 9 - Payroll and Benefit Support Representative).


A multi-faceted role in a high volume, fast-paced quality service environment

The BC Public Service Agency (BCPSA) provides leadership and services in people management. The Agency supports its clients in achieving their human resource goals and improves the overall effectiveness of the public service by providing human resource management policies and frameworks, as well as a variety of human resource services, products and programs.

The HR Services Representative is the “voice” of MyHR who provides technical HR advice and support to ministry customers and clients, via email and telephone, related to routine collective agreement interpretation and application of other HR matters, such as pay, benefits, leaves and application support queries. 

Your strong service orientation, including your ability to provide exceptional service to customers and resolve issues in a Contact Centre environment, is critical to this position, as are good verbal and written communication skills, ability to multitask, prioritize and to meet deadlines.  We are seeking a confident individual able to perform multiple duties with a high degree of initiative, professionalism and efficiency. In this position, you are the first point of contact and will provide telephone and email correspondence services to respond to enquiries while navigating multiple screens and programs. You are a positive team member and are able to maintain confidentiality when dealing with personnel information and privacy legislation.
