The Services to Adults with Developmental Disabilities (STADD) Program was established in January 2012 to respond to recommendations made by the Deputy Ministers’ review of Community Living British Columbia.  The Ministry of Social Development and Social Innovation assumed overall responsibility for STADD Program in conjunction with an Inter-ministerial Steering Committee comprised of senior representatives of the ministries and organizations whose services significantly impact the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities.

The overarching mandate is the development of an integrated service delivery model that reflects a one-government approach to better support individuals with developmental disabilities throughout the lifespan and across service systems, particularly through periods of transition, such as youth to adulthood.  STADD has established four implementation sites across the province with a focus on youth transitioning to adulthood.

The program administrator position reports directly to the executive director of STADD.  The primary role of the position is to provide administrative support to the executive director including a wide range of operational, administrative and financial support services for the executive director and program management support services in consultation with the program directors and executive director. The program administrator also supports other administrative positions.
