The Business Measurement and Analytics Services unit is a small team who are experts in analytics, surveys and research. They provide research design, prepare statistical reports, and deliver data analysis to clients across the corporation so they have the information they need to inform business decisions.

As the Senior Research Analyst, you will be responsible for leading work in predictive analysis, workload modeling and forecasting. You will lead a variety of performance measurement and reporting activities which includes the collection, standardization, analysis and interpretation of data. 


Selection Criteria:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in statistics, mathematics, economics, public or business administration or social science field, or related field AND five years of experience designing and conducting qualitative and quantitative research.

  • An equivalent combination of related education, training and experience may be considered.

  • Recent experience using computer applications including spreadsheets (MS Excel – Advanced Functions like Pivot Tables, Macros), databases (SQL/MS Access), presentation (MS PowerPoint) and statistical analysis software (R or SPSS);

  • Recent experience in the collection and evaluation of data and information (eg. Web, customer relationship management, call centre, or pension data).

  • Experience designing predictive models that address workload and resources is preferred.

  • Experience using visualization applications (Tableau, Tibco Spotfire, BI Publisher) is preferred.
