The Natural Resource Sector (NRS) is a key driver of economic activity and employment in the province. To support the growth of the economy while providing effective environmental stewardship, the NRS must transform to become an integrated manager of BC’s natural resources and to make authorization decisions that appropriately balance social, economic and environmental objectives.

The Natural Resource Permitting Project (NRPP) involves a significant investment to integrate legislation, processes, technology, data and the workforce across six Ministries and other Agencies. NRPP is a long-term, large scale initiative that will involve dozens of projects implemented in a phased approach. NRPP will deliver meaningful benefits to industry, First Nations, non-government organizations (NGOs) and the public.

As the Change Management Project Support, you will deliver on the goals and objectives set out to achieve the strategic vision for the change management activities and strategies associated with the NRPP.  This will include overseeing a broad-based dialogue and communications framework to improve engagement with stakeholders and First Nations; understanding of individual authorization projects and how they contribute to the Natural Resource Permitting Project and government priorities.

You will, under the direction of an Organizational Change Manager, support NRPP projects in the implementation of all change management practices, including communications, training and engagement support. As the Change Management Project Support you will be accountable for supporting change management activities and project level communication within the Natural Resource Permitting Project.
