SALARY: $66,200.03 to $75,658.71 Annually (plus a 6.6% Temporary Market Adjustment)

The Information Systems Branch is responsible for providing strategic IM/IT leadership for the Justice and Public Safety Sector, and for the provision of IM/IT services to support our sector program areas and stakeholders. The branch includes four divisions: MCIO Division, Client Services Division, IT Security, Privacy & Operations Division, and the Strategic Initiatives Division.
The IT Security, Privacy & Operations Division is responsible for oversight and maintaining a stable, secure, and efficient operational environment for our sector clients and their business applications. Key services include information security and privacy, infrastructure support, liaison with central agencies and a Service Desk that supports sector staff and our broader stakeholders.
As an Oracle DBA and a member of the Operations work unit in the IT Security, Privacy & Operations Division, you will be part of a dynamic team of technical coordinators, mid-tier system administrators, data modellers, business area portfolio managers and others who work together to meet the needs of our clients. You will be responsible for the day to day tasks of managing the security, performance, backups and provisioning of database resources, as well as planning patches and upgrades as required. You will also be working with diverse individuals in different technical and non-technical roles to implement and maintain applications and systems in the service of clients of the Justice and Public Safety Sector.
