Be part of the innovative team charged with building a safe and trusted place to make new discoveries with Crown data. Data is the natural resource of the digital economy and can be used to improve the lives of British Columbians – to drive innovation, create products and services, and shed new light on complicated social issues.  The Centre will create corporate data science capabilities that support government itself innovating with data, working with ministries and crowns to solve government’s most challenging social, economic and environmental challenges. 

As a Business Analyst in the newly created Centre for Data-Driven Innovation, your primary responsibilities will be to translate policies and frameworks into operational processes, and put these into practice to manage data sharing projects. This will require developing relationships with skilled technical specialists across government, conducting primary and secondary research on best and common practices, synthesizing learnings into recommendations and operationalizing these recommended approaches.  If you can speak technical and business languages and use your creative problem-solving and people skills to keep complex projects on track, we want to hear from you.
