Your work supports the Islands Trust Area – a scenic archipelago of 13 major islands and more than 450 smaller islands. Outstanding scenery and recreational resources include panoramic viewpoints, sheltered bays with warm sand and pebble beaches and protected marine waterways that contribute to the Trust Area’s beauty and appeal.
About the Job
Working alongside a team of land use planners and other professionals, the focus of this temporary position is to acquire information and develop internal systems to enhance our success at protecting freshwater. The Senior Freshwater Specialist will also provide advice to elected officials, local trust committees, senior management and other staff on a variety of freshwater issues and initiatives.
