Salary Range: $61,358.64 -70,016.90 annually  plus a 6.6% Temporary Market Adjustment

The Office of the Auditor General is searching for an experienced individual to fill the role of an Intermediate SharePoint/Web Developer. The OAG is an independent office of the legislature that has its own technical service team to support the important audit work. The SharePoint developer provides technical expertise and advice in the development and maintenance of form-based applications.
This opportunity is directed to those applicants with the following education and experience:

  • Degree, diploma, certification or equivalent in the computer science field, or equivalent
  • Multiple years of successful experience in a broad number of application development tools including web development with .net technologies (CSS, Visual Studio, C++) as well as SharePoint 2010, 2013 and/or 2016,
  • Experience with form and workflow process software such as InfoPath forms and Nintex Workflow (or workflow equivalent),
  • Knowledge of SQL Server, SSRS and MS Access database technologies is an asset,
  • Experience building sites and pages with “out-of-the-box” SharePoint 2016 functionality and SharePoint Designer.
  • Knowledge of application design and development life cycle principals, and related programming languages,
  • Knowledge of records management principles and SharePoint Records Centre is an asset.

You must have the ability to communicate technical information clearly, both orally and in writing. As a team member you will contribute to group objectives and enhance output in a team environment through co-operation and interaction. You will be able to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with a variety of individuals at all levels, where customer service expectations are high, and deadlines are very important. This position requires you to complete assignments and organize your workload effectively and efficiently to achieve results within acceptable timeframes with changing priorities/deadlines.
