The Information Management Branch (IMB) fulfills business needs with technology solutions by managing, executing and supporting IM/IT solutions and projects. SharePoint support for the ministry has recently been added to IMB responsibilities and we are looking for someone to join our team.

In order to be considered for this position, your application must clearly demonstrate how you meet the education and experience as outlined below:


  • Diploma, certification or equivalent in the computer science field or minimum 4 years of comparable combination of education, training and/or related experience.

  • 2 years of experience with SharePoint including out of the box web parts, lists, content types, workflow development, templates and master pages, search navigation, permissions, and records management.

  • Experience with SharePoint server and client object model preferred.

  • 1 year experience developing in JavaScript and/or TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.

  • Experience in assessing customer requirements, developing and implementing technical and business solutions.

  • Experience with Microsoft and Cloud technologies (including: Office 365, SharePoint, Exchange, Skype for Business, Azure, Infrastructure as a Service, and Software as a Service) preferred.
